Talisman would love to introduce you to the joys of aerobic exercise. She began teaching aerobics in graduate school as an antidote to the sedentary nature of academic life and 14 years later she stills gets a thrill from every class. Though history professors are not often known for their “funky” style, Talisman learned to appreciate samba and other Latin rhythms while living in Brazil (ostensibly doing research). She believes group exercise is not about perfecting a routine, but about finding joy in movement. Life is uncertain, so enjoy a thumping hip-hop beat while you can! |
