The Women’s Foundation of Colorado’s Annual Denver Luncheon will be here before you know it! This year’s featured speaker is Lisa Ling, special correspondent for the National Geographic Channel, and contributor to The Oprah Show. Lisa has covered women’s stories around the globe, including AIDS orphans in Uganda, bride burning in India, and gang rape in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
The luncheon will be held Thursday, November 12, at the Colorado Convention Center, Denver. Tables and tickets are on sale now at www.wfco.org.
Each year, this event provides the majority of financial support for The Women’s Foundation’s work to help Colorado’s women and girls achieve economic success.
