Celebrate our coming together with a high energy, fun-filled evening of “in the moment” recreational music making. As a diverse group of women, we will join forces and work effectively together creating a strong sense of community. Through self-expression, teambuilding, stress relief, empowering one another and freely sharing our rhythmical spirit, Heartbeats to Drumbeats will kick off our CampExperience™ with a boom!

Saturday Afternoon Adventure

Adventure Title: Beginning Hand Drumming      

Adventure Description:

Easy and Fun to Learn! Have you always wanted to be a part of a musical group?  Maybe you once were, but it's been a long time! Come learn the basic tone(s), patterns and rhythm of the drum. If you can say it, YOU can play it! Our group will combine what we have learned and perfect an authentic three piece ethnic drum and song  to perform in Saturday night's talent show. Don't let this scare you! ABSOLUTELY NO MUSICAL EXPERIENCE OR TALENT IS REQUIRED! Class is limited to twelve camp sisters.

Neysa is a retired music educator, a certified drum circle facilitator and a trained HealthRHYTHMS provider. She has been an active drum circle facilitator in the Denver, Colorado area since 2003. She offers a bi-monthly women’s circle in her home and provides rhythm based events to schools, churches, communities, retreats, health care facilities and more.
