Massage/Ayurveda Yoga, Elizabeth Browning Jones

elizabeth

Based on ancient yoga practices, Structural Yoga Therapy is a yogic modality created by Boulder local Mukunda Stiles. He is an author and master yogi who combined his knowledge of physical therapy, anatomy and physiology and a lifetime of yogic studies into a individualized yoga program that encourages healthful changes in Body, Mind and Spirit based on individual needs.

While Yoga started (roughly 5,000 years ago) as a spiritual practice, it has since it came to America in the late 19th century, it has become a popular form of physical exercise. Because yoga incorporates physical exercises, breathing exercises, and meditation, it can be extremely effective in alleviating certain health conditions, such as heart disease or hypertension, asthma, and back problems.   Specifically, yoga has been proven to improve back pain through strengthening related muscles, reduce mental stress and consequently lower blood pressure, and improve resistance to harmful self-objectification and low self-esteem.

Elizabeth Browning Jones is a practitioner and teacher of yoga, craniosacral, and massage therapies. In 1995 after she attended her first yoga class, she became inspired to bring health to not only her body but to body, mind and spirit. Her passion now is cranialsacral therapy and Yoga therapy and classes combined for a whole body passive and active participation for her clients.

Her passion for looking at the whole person in her treatments was fueled even deeper by a series of serious car accidents that sent her looking for help and a new way of dealing with stress, pain and trauma. This led her to discover craniosacral and structural yoga therapy. Elizabeth has practices in both New Mexico and Colorado. She is a teaching assistant for the Upledger Institute and is often helping them teach craniosacral techniques to interested practitioners.

She attended Cascade School of Massage and Bodywork therapies in Eugene, Oregon and Oregon State University in Corvallis, Oregon, for Exercise and Sport science. Other modalities she has studied in the US and in Europe are: Ayurveda, the Lauren Berry method, lymph drainage (Berry method), pre-natal massage, pediatric craniosacral, and visceral manipulation.

There are numerous types of therapeutic massage, cranialsacral, myofacial release, and structural integration are some of the services you can receive at Integrative Health.  Myofascial release has an indirect and direct technique that addresses the different muscle and soft tissue (fascia) layers of the body. Energy Pathways Healing/Reiki, Yvonne Sedillo, Certified Reiki Master/Teacher

Energy Pathways / Reiki
Our body speaks to us, we only have to understand that our emotions and our thoughts are “Energy Out” that always comes back to us and is reflected in our bodies as stress, dis-ease, and aches and pains.  Energy Pathways utilizes the benefits of Reiki, the chakra system, and the aura to understand how thoughts and emotions are physically affecting the body.  These feelings and beliefs can be felt as static energy in the body and in the aura.  Techniques used with the “Energy Pathways System” remove stagnant energy and allows healing energy to infuse both the physical body and the light body.  A deep meditative state is often experienced as well as a feeling of peace, tranquility, and bountiful energy.

Yvonne Sedillo is a certified Reiki practitioner and Master/Teacher.  She has worked with clients, family, and friends for over 10 years. Working with the Energy body (Chakras and Aura) Yvonne has been able to understand varying vibrations in the Aura and how these subtle vibrational differences correspond and affect each area of the body and each of the Chakras.  Yvonne has also come to comprehend the basic functions of the body structure, systems, and organs and how emotions and thoughts over time, can manifest as pain, dis-ease, and emotional stress.

Yvonne teaches the Energy Pathways Usui Reiki System of Natural Healing and works with clients at the Eli Ashby Healing Arts Center located in Arvada Colorado.  She has helped clients understand that thoughts and emotions have energy and that energy creates in our bodies and in our physical world.

Acutonics/Acupuncture, Jennifer Pillari, MSOM, L. Ac., Dipl. OM

Acupuncture involves the insertion of sterile, single-use, disposable, fine needles on the body's surface. These needles influence the physiological functioning of the body by improving the energy force running through it, commonly referred to as "Qi".  As an inherently holistic method, acupuncture can benefit almost any condition.

Acutonics is an integrated and harmonic approach to health and healing. It is often referred to as "sound healing". It is non-invasive and incorporates the use of tuning forks on the acupuncture points to achieve health and harmony in the body.

Jennifer Pillari has a Master of Science degree in Oriental Medicine from Southwest Acupuncture College in Boulder, Colorado. She is a licensed acupuncturist and Chinese herbalist in the state of Colorado and Diplomat of Oriental Medicine, as certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM).

In addition to acupuncture, Jennifer is also trained in Acutonics, an innovative healing modality that combines Chinese medical traditions with sound healing.  Jennifer also has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from Boston College in Chestnut Hill, Massachusetts.

Reconnective Healing, Sabrina Fritts

Often a life-changing experience, Reconnective Healing utilizes new frequencies to allow for the healing of the body, mind and spirit.  Vastly different from Reiki, Johri, Jin Shin, Qi Gong or Ranic healing, Reconnective Healing uses the highly palpable energies initiated by Sabrina in the session to continue working with you long after your session has ended.  Through your participation in the session, you will be forever changed, operating at and attuned to a higher frequency than ever before.  This treatment is very relaxing, rejuvenating and beneficial.

Sabrina Fritts Sabrina received a wake-up call in February 2004 in the form of a rollover accident with her two daughters. Not seriously injured, she felt that there was a reason she was still alive and wanted to find out why. She received a very credible recommendation to receive a personal Reconnection. Eagerly accepting the recommendation, she had her Reconnection facilitated and shortly after, she was guided to become a practitioner.

Currently, Sabrina facilitates Reconnective Healing® and The Reconnection™ sessions in the Foothills of Denver, provides mentoring/coaching for other practitioners, travels as a teaching assistant for Dr. Eric Pearl helping others obtain mastery of this work at Reconnection™ seminars, and holds public presentations on the philosophy and amazing on-going benefits of Reconnective Healing® and The Reconnection™.

CranioSacral/Lymphatic Drainage Massage, Emily Horak, CMT, CST, LDMT

CranioSacral is a gentle touch therapy for the nervous system.  By balancing the brain, spinal cord and all structures that protect and connect the nervous system the applications are infinite.  CranioSacral can be utilized to treat headaches, head and spinal cord trauma, whiplash, sinus problems, neck, back, hip pain and much more.  This therapy also increases mental functioning and can address speech, vision and auditory dysfunction.

A detoxifying massage for the immune system, Lymphatic Drainage Massage cleanses the body with gentle rhythmic massage.  This opens the lymph vessels, allowing filtration through the lymph nodes.  LDM can be used to treat a variety of conditions including sinus congestion, frequent colds, chronic pain and intestinal disturbances.  This therapy will also reduce puffiness especially in the face, neck and abdomen.

Emily Horak, CMT, CST, LDMT

Emily received certification in the several modalities from the Colorado School of Healing Arts including Craniolsacral, Lymphatic Drainage, Swedish, Neuromuscular, Deep Tissue, Reflexology and Healing Touch.
Enduring chronic migraine headaches since the age of three, Emily was drawn to holistic health practice and bodywork.  Her work has given her a deep compassion for individuals and chronic pain, and a passion for assisting infants and young children in their healing and development.
